Change the stages and probabilities on the Lists tab. Keep the names Submitted, Awarded, Declined and Reporting, because the automatic updates below rely on them. After adding a stage, use Extensions > Tidyfield Grant Tracker > Rebuild dashboard.
What happens when you change a stage
- The change and its date are added to Stage history.
- Probability is filled from the stage, unless you typed your own.
- Moving to Submitted stamps the submitted date; moving to Awarded or Declined stamps the decision date.
- When a grant is awarded and Amount awarded is blank, it is set to the amount requested, and a note asks you to correct it if the award was different.
- Once an award has started and it has open reports, the daily upkeep moves it to Reporting.
Calculated columns
- Weighted value: amount requested times probability, for open grants.
- Fiscal year: from the decision date, else the submitted date, else the next deadline, using the fiscal year you chose at setup (change it on the Lists tab).
- Next deadline, its type and days left: the earliest open deadline for the grant on the Deadlines tab.
New funders, programs and owners you type are added to their dropdown lists. If you rename a funder or an opportunity, the labels on the Deadlines and Payments tabs follow.
