Deadlines and reports

The Deadlines tab holds every date that matters, each linked to a grant.

Deadline types and statuses

Types: LOI, Application, Interim report, Final report, Renewal, Site visit and Other. You can add your own on the Lists tab and mark which ones count as reports. Status is Open, Done or Not needed.

  • Overdue open deadlines turn red; those due within 7 days turn amber; done items turn grey.
  • Setting a deadline to Done stamps the completed date and moves the grant's next deadline on.
  • In the sidebar's Upcoming view, the Done button does the same in one click.
  • Remind days before sets how early reminders and calendar alerts start for that deadline. Blank uses the default from the Reminders settings (14 days).

Report schedules

Funders usually want reports every quarter, six months or year, and a final report after the award ends. In the sidebar, open Add > Reports:

  1. Pick the grant and enter the award start and end dates.
  2. Choose how often interim reports are due (every month, 3 months, 6 months, year, or final report only).
  3. Set how many days after each period a report is due (30 by default) and how many days after the end the final report is due (60 by default).
  4. Click Preview, check the dates, then add them.

Each period that ends more than a week before the award ends gets an interim report; the final report covers the last stretch. Reports already on the Deadlines tab (same grant, type and date) are skipped, so running it again never duplicates anything.
