Grant deadline reminders

A daily email and a shared calendar, straight from the spreadsheet you already keep.

Why spreadsheets miss deadlines

A tracker does not tell you anything until you open it. Conditional formatting helps once you look, but the risk is the week nobody looks.

What reminders should do

  • Arrive on their own, at a time you choose, and only when something is due.
  • Group items by grant, so one email covers a whole application.
  • Start early for big items: a 40-page application needs more warning than a site visit.
  • Reach the right person: the whole team, or each owner with their own items.
  • Show up in the calendar too, so deadlines sit next to meetings.

How Grant Tracker does it

Each deadline has a "remind days before" value (14 days by default). Every morning at your chosen hour, Grant Tracker emails your list about overdue items and anything inside its window. A separate Google Calendar holds every open deadline as an all-day event, and drops items you mark done. Reminder emails ยท Shared calendar
